Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters deeply. This app was built as a personal ministry tool — your personal data stays on your device. It is never sold, shared, or stored on any external server controlled by this app.
What Is Stored on Your Device
The following is stored exclusively on your phone or tablet using local device storage. No one — not the developer, not any server — can access this data remotely.
- Prayer Journal — all prayer requests, categories, priorities, and answered prayer records
- Bible Highlights — every verse you bookmark or highlight in the Bible reader
- Bible Notes — personal notes and reflections you write on Bible verses
- Reading Plan Progress — daily progress, streak count, and completed days
- Bible Version Preference — your selected version (KJV or WEB)
Because your Prayer Journal, Bible Highlights, and Notes are stored locally on your device, they will be permanently deleted if you uninstall the app or clear the app's data.
There is currently no cloud backup. Please note any important prayer requests or Bible notes before uninstalling.
Push Notification Token
When you allow push notifications, a device token is registered with Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) to deliver notifications to your device. This token is used only for sending notifications and is not linked to any personal identity. No personal data is sent to Firebase.
What We Do Not Collect
This app does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identity information
- Your location or GPS data
- Your prayer journal entries or Bible notes
- Your browsing or reading habits within the app
- Any financial or payment information
- Device contacts, camera, or microphone data
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Content Fetched From the Server
The following content is fetched from christosamuel.com when you use the app. This is read-only — the app reads content but does not send any personal data back to the server.
- Daily Devotional — fetched fresh each day from christosamuel.com
- Articles & Reflections — fetched from the WordPress content API at christosamuel.com
- Quotes — fetched from the christosamuel.com quotes library
- Daily Scripture Verse — fetched from the christosamuel.com daily verse API
- Sabbath School Quarterly — fetched from the official Adventech GitHub repository (General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists)
FaithCompanion AI
The FaithCompanion feature uses the Anthropic Claude API to provide AI-powered spiritual encouragement. When you send a message, your message text is sent to the Anthropic API to generate a response. No personally identifying information is included. Conversation history is held in memory only for the current session and is not stored or logged by this app.
Children's Privacy
This app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages. It does not knowingly collect any personal information from children or any users. All personal data remains on the user's device only.

The Christo Samuel App — including its name, design language, user interface, feature set, content architecture, and branding — is the sole intellectual property of Christo Samuel Sanakian John Peter (christosamuel.com).
This app is not a commercial product. It is a ministry tool offered freely as an act of service to God and to people, rooted in the Seventh-day Adventist Christian faith and open to all who seek encouragement in their walk with God.

Design & User Interface
The entire visual design — including the color system (Navy #0F172A, Indigo #4F46E5, Purple, Amber), typography (Poppins font family), component library, layout patterns, immersive mode gradients, and overall aesthetic — was designed from scratch for this application. The design reflects the ministry identity of christosamuel.com and is not derived from any existing design system or template.
